Anna Kelso is a protagonist of Deus Ex: Icarus Effect and the deuteragonist of Deus Ex: The Fall. She is a woman in her late 20s or early 30s, and possesses subtle visual augs in her eyes and a rebreather aug in her chest.
History
The book begins with her as a member of the US Secret Service, and a former stimm addict. She mostly gives her coworker Matt Ryan credit for helping her quit stimms, and thus helping her live a comfortable life, until an escort job gone awry leading to her entire team being killed by a team of heavily armed and augmented assassins. After she recovers from her injuries, she begins an investigation into the killings, which is unexpectedly shut down by her superiors.
