Aria Argento is a Task Force 29 agent and quartermaster operating in Prague in 2029. Aria and Jensen are the only known American Task Force 29 employees working in Prague.

Biography

Aria Argento served a stint in the United States Marine Corps before eventually being transferred. Some time before joining TF29 however, her right arm was augmented, making her and Adam Jensen the only augmented agents in the Prague-based Central European Division of TF29.

Due to a rare genetic mutation, Aria's body builds up glial tissue around her arm implant more quickly compared to a regular augmented person, especially when she is placed under stress, resulting in her needing a higher-than-normal intake of Neuropozyne. While this condition is used as a reason to not let her become a field agent, she will state the reasoning is more complicated. Her fellow agents believe it really is economics, however. Aria is generally well-liked, and even the usually neurotic Peter Chang appreciates her security-minded approach. She is also an occasional guest of Dr Delara Auzenne, whose tips on relaxation and meditation Aria finds very helpful.

Since she's not on field duty, she supervises the shooting range and gives Task Force agents tips on weapon usage, and organizes the quarterly TF29 Shooting Competition, in its third iteration in 2029. Any TF29 agents wishing to carry a firearm in Prague are also required to pay Aria a visit, in order to pass a proficiency exam. Her signature and Director Miller's pave the way for a concealed carry weapon permit and a handgun from Aria's expansive stores.

Miller is a strong believer in Argento as a field agent, and is willing to bear the costs. He pushed for her to be cleared for field duty under Duncan MacReady, and by the time Jensen arrives after the Ruzicka bombing, all that remains is Auzenne giving her the all clear. She is finally assigned to MacReady's team after G.A.R.M., and notes that Mac actually recommended her and told her she shoots better than anyone on his team.

Points of Interest

• Shooting Range – Jensen can take a refresher course on the shooting range, under her guidance.
• Shooting Range Mastered – Enter the actual shooting range again and Aria will talk Jensen through a tutorial on using different ammo and mods.
• Too Close to Home – If Jensen did not already bump into Daria Myska, Aria Argento will call Jensen regarding this after completing M11: Confronting the Bomb-Maker or M12: The Heist.

Conversations

• Upon the first visit to TF29, Jensen can talk to Aria about the challenges of being the only other augmented agent in the Prague unit. This conversation occurs automatically when Jensen reaches the second floor of the headquarters.
• If Jensen got to TF29 without setting off any alarms after G.A.R.M., she will make an appropriate comment about it. However, perhaps due to a bug, if you talk to her after you talked with Miller or the second time, she will act like you set off alarms and/or killed cops while getting there.

Trivia

• Aria is apparently part-Italian as evident by her surname (silver in Italian) and the poster of Tuscany in her office. Also, her name is very similar to Asia Argento, an Italian actress.
