The Champs-Élysées is a street in Paris, France. The Champs-Élysées is a location featured in Deus Ex, and serves as the third and final city hub of the game. The in-game location is also referred to as "Near Champs-Elysées."[1]

While many visitors only see the glittering main avenue, those who are a bit more adventurous might venture off the beaten path and be rewarded with a taste of old Paris in the dark back streets and alleys away from the flashing lights and hustle of tourists...

The Champs-Élysées is regarded as the spiritual and cultural heart of Paris. By the time JC Denton arrives to search for the whereabouts of Nicolette DuClare, the area had been taken over by heavily armed Majestic 12 forces.

The Champs-Élysées is accessed via the Paris Catacombs exit. The surface level is patrolled by a formidable force of military bots and troopers armed with with heavy weapons, including LAWs.
