Notes[]
- The "Blank Keycard" may have been superseded by the "Package from Janus" story item, which includes both a datarod and a blank keycard.
- An asterisk (*) in the description field indicates that the item does not have a unique description. When placed in the inventory via the debug menu, the item will use the description of an in-game item or story item.
- As shown in the gallery below, the "Apartment Virus Sample" uses the description of the in-game "Orchid Sample" story item when placed in the inventory via the debug menu, suggested that its role in the story may have been supplanted by the Orchid Sample. The model for the "Apartment Virus Sample" shows the label "biohazard," suggesting a composition different from that of the Orchid in the final game.
- The "Dead Man Switch" and "Allison Signal Jammer" may have been unused story-item variants of the in-inventory items Marchenko's Kill Switch and Signal Jammer, respectively. In the final game, the model for the "Dead Man Switch" is used for the switch that Marchenko uses to detonate the bombs in London.
- Other cut story items also appear to have been superseded by similar story items found in-game. For example, the "Black Fur" (item_sm03_fur_en) has a similar story role as the "Bear Head" story item in-game.
