Plot[]
2049. UNATCO agent Mad Ingram is sent to Hong Kong to investigate a possible connection between the Luminous Path triad and a terrorist attack in a nearby Chinese city. A man by the name of David Yoon sends Ingram to Yumashev Industries to investigate where the terrorists got their weaponry. At Yumashev, Ingram saved from poisonous gas by Lein Takara, an officer of the MPS (Ministry of Public Support). Lein tells Ingram that David Yoon was the man who orchestrated the terrorism. Mad Ingram captures Yoon, and is sent back to base.
At the MPS base, Ingram is unexpectedly captured and sent on an airplane to Berlin. A UNATCO official by the name of 'Number One' contacts Ingram and sends him on a mission to infiltrate XVA laboratories to remove 'Project Mad Ingram' from their database. Alexia Novikova, leader of XVA, approaches Ingram and informs him that UNATCO is not what it seems. Alexia tells Ingram to meet up with David Yoon, who is also in Berlin. Yoon exposes UNATCO and MJ12 to Ingram and is killed by troopers afterwards. Ingram's pilot, Lana Zavich, reveals herself to be an Illuminati agent.
Agent Mad Ingram
Lana takes Ingram to Queens in order to find out about his past. After dealing with a Zyme gang at Ingram's childhood home, The Cutter Residence, his former caretaker tells him that he is a clone of Westly Cutter, an NYPD officer who died ten years ago.
Lana flies Ingram to Anthony Stafford, an Illuminati member, who tells him to find information about XVA's military base, which is stored below the White House. Stafford's complex is destroyed by a hijacked NORAD missile, sent from Alexia. Ingram infiltrates the White House and discovers the location of the military base, Dynamene Station, Siberia. Before leaving to Dynamene, Ingram is confronted by Lein, disclosing that she works for MJ12. After a brief exchange of fire, Lein defects to Ingram's side.
At Dynamene Station, Mad Ingram battles David Yoon's augmented son and continues to the inner sections. At this point of the game, Ingram has four choices for what to do with the station:
- Destroy Alexia's tower, killing her, and join the Illuminati.
- Destroy Alexia's tower, send missiles to major Illuminati hideouts and join MJ12.
- Send missiles to major Illuminati and MJ12 headquarters and join XVA.
- Destroy the entire facility, sacrificing yourself (canon ending).
Epilogue DLC[]
2052. The Gray Death epidemic is spreading like wildfire across the world. UNATCO Agent Mad Ingram has been ordered to kill Greg Powell - a wanted international terrorist reportedly in possession of illegally acquired ambrosia. Currently hiding somewhere in the American city of North Monroe, agent Ingram has to get rid of Powell and secure the ambrosia before it's too late.
