Missions and locations[]
The following missions/locations were implemented in-game but were cut:
Parts of the space station and moon base missions were reused for other missions, whereas the White House and Mt. Weather were cut from the game entirely.[1]
The released game includes thirteen missions, numbered internally as missions 01–06, 08–12 and 14–15. Numbers 07 and 13 are omitted from missions of the finished game and were cut no later than the time of design document v. 13.12. According to a recollection from one the developers, missions 07 and 13 were the White House and Mt. Weather.[2] Based on conversation data in the game files, mission 07 could also have been, at least at one point, the return to VersaLife's headquarters during the Hong Kong part of the game, but was later merged with the rest of the Hong Kong content (mission 06).[3] These two possibilities are not necessarily mutually exclusive, since mission number 07 could have been repurposed one or more times during the game's development.
