Jackson Andrews (also known as Jack) is an unique background character in The Missing Link DLC for Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
Overview[]
In Loading Bay 2 of the Rifleman Bank Station, more specifically inside the office, Jackson can be found typing on his computer while also looking over the loading bay 2 balcony watching a few Belltower light troopers standing guard & 80-X Boxguard walking around. On his personal computer however, are a few email conversations between other Belltower Associates security guards. One is between Nigel Ashton about 'Cargo' Transfer and how he got a bunch of pods from Detroit, USA, stating they were 'rejects' headed to the Omega Ranch, Hengsha. The conversation shifts to Pieter Burke giving permissions for Jackson. Another email conversation consists of him emailing 'RBS-BT_PORTAUTHORITY' about Docking permission authorized being shipped on the Hei Zhen Zhu. Another email conversation between Nigel exists, confirming the two are close friends as they joke about some of the female 'rejected pods'.
Trivia[]
- Although his official name is Jackson Andrews, his NPC model is listed as: "Security Guard".
- If the Boxguard is hacked & starts to attack other bodyguards, Jack will be the only NPC that will go out of his way to fight it head on. However he'll only do this if he's leaning over the railing on the balcony.
