A keycard reader is a type of security device in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. Keycard readers typically serve as locks that restrict the player from accessing a certain area. Compared to keypad locks, which can be unlocked in various manners, keycard readers can only be opened if the matching keycard has been obtained.
