MILNET (Military Network) is a private internet network owned and used by the United States Military during the events of Deus Ex. It is possible to access the Network at Vandenberg Airforce Base. Although JC Denton visits the facility to meet Gary Savage of X-51 and use the Universal Constructor, Daedalus will alert the player that it is quickly failing due to Icarus' interference and needs MILNET access to stay "alive". After JC gives it MILNET access, Daedalus and Icarus will merge to become one AI, Helios.

- In real life, MILNET was a real portion of the ARPANET Network used by the U.S. Department of Defense for exchanging secretive, but not confidential information. In the 1990s, MILNET became known as the Non-classified Internet Protocol Router Network, or NIPRNet.
