The Matsu-Gravas R-118 Repair Bot, or simply "Repair Bot" in the in-game label, is a type of repair robot developed by Matsu-Gravas that appears in Deus Ex.

The Matsu-Gravas R-118 is characteristic of all bots in the M-G repair line, an autonomous unit capable of a wide range of repair, maintenance, and construction tasks. Characteristics

A repair bot can be used to recharge the player's bioelectric energy, up to 75% per use with a 1-minute cooldown between successive uses. Repair bots are one of two ways to regain bioelectric energy, the other being the use of a bioelectric cell. Unlike bioelectric cells, which are consumable items, repair bots provide an unlimited number of recharges, subject only to the 1-minute cooldown.

Repair bots are friendly by default but becomes hostile if attacked by the player. Even if turned hostile, a repair bot will not attack the player since it does not possess any weapons.
