Micro-assembler

The Micro-Assembler is an experimental augmentation in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided provided by the Tactical Pack DLC. The Micro-Assembler is used to break down items into crafting parts, and decrease the number of parts required for crafting and upgrades.

Description[]

This augmentation upgrades the robotic arm assembly with precise motors and detailed deconstruction routines. This allows the user to break-down and recycle many item types into weapon parts for future upgrades.
The Micro-Assembler can break down weapons, ammo, and many other item types with metal pieces, such as explosives, software, and junk items. The number of parts created are based on the physical size of the item used.
Allows breaking down weapons, ammo, and other items into weapon parts from the Inventory.

Upgrades[]

Upgrade Optimizer[]

Modifications to the Micro-Assembler routines allow it to evaluate part requirements on a per-item basis and suggest more efficient construction methods. The end result is that both crafting new items and upgrades to existing items require fewer weapon parts to perform.
Reduces the cost of upgrades and crafting using Weapon Parts.

Upgrade Maximizer[]

Gameplay[]

  • The base augmentation permits dismantling of items into crafting parts at a conversion rate of 5 crafting parts per block of inventory space.
  • The first upgrade reduces the cost of crafting and upgrading by 15%.
  • The second upgrade reduces the cost of crafting and upgrading by another 15% from the base amount, for a total reduction of 30% from the base amount.

Notes[]

  • The micro-assembler will not show up during the scripted augmentation tour given by Václav Koller.
  • This augmentation is in the cranial category, even though its description states that it upgrades Jensen's robotic arm.
