Ondrej Tvarozek is the owner of the Music Box in Prague. He can be encountered in his store during the first and second visits to Prague, but has no special interactions.
Biography[]
Ondrej held an apartment in Překážka,[1] but moved out for financial reasons after his friend Bohumír, who also resided there, vanished unexpectedly. Ondrej's store, the Music Box, has recently experienced a downturn in business. Ondrej received an offer from Axel Rêka to sell his store but turned it down, telling Axel that the store is his livelihood, good or bad, and that the city still needs good music. Ondrej tells another friend that the vultures are already circling but he refuses to lose his store without a fight.[2]
Trivia[]
- This character is named after the real-world Lithium Dawn band member Ondrej Tvarozek. Shortly after the release of the game, Lithium Dawn posted a message on its Facebook page with the note "you can hang out with our boy Ondrej Tvarozek who is the shop owner at 'The Music Box' in Prague." Lithium Dawn's album AION appears in the Music Box.
- Lithium Dawn's Facebook post seemingly confirms that the identity of the character at the store counter is in fact Ondrej Tvarozek. In the in-game interaction prompt, Ondrej is labeled only as "Vendor."
Cut content[]
- In a cut email, Ondrej (the in-game character) receives an email from another character also named "Ondrej" who is promoting a new album called "Tearing back the veil." The cut email includes a link to Lithium Dawn's real-world Bandcamp's page.[3] "Tearing Back the Veil" is the name of a series of Lithium Dawn albums.
- In a cut pocket secretary message, Bohumír writes a note to Ondrej explaining his disappearance. Bohumír writes that he disappeared into the sewers because his augments were giving him trouble. After he got better, Bohumír tried to return home but found out that their apartment has now been occupied by others.[4]
- In another cut pocket secretary message, Ondrej receives a message from a Dvali gangster who accuses Ondrej of "selling more lucrative goods than just music" and wants to extort additional money for this reason.[5] In the finished game, Ondrej does not have any items that are purchasable by the player character. The basement of the store includes only minor loot, including a box of crafting parts.
