Ping is a minor character in Deus Ex: Human Revolution. He appears in the mission "Hunting the Hacker".

Ping having a discussion with his girlfriend.
In section 4 of the Alice Garden Pods near a soda machine, Ping and his unnamed girlfriend can be seen having a discussion about his pod. The girlfriend will start the dialogue mentioning that she finds him to be a nice guy however was tiresome of his personal belongings crowding up his pod and hallway. Ping states there was nothing he could do as he had no more available space. The girlfriend indifferently responds that his belongings were trash that needed to be thrown away.
Ping shocked by her statement says that his mother gave him post of his belongings. Sternly she tells Ping if he could ask Jay for more available space but Ping follows up by mentioning that Jay may not like him. When approached by Jensen, he will firstly apologize about his mess but if interacted the second time he will mention the "South Wing" capsule mentioning the "Dutchman". Later, when Belltower Associates raids the hotel to execute all the guests, Ping was one of the many victims as his corpse can be seen lying upright against a wall. His girlfriend's fate remains ambiguous.

- Despite his name being "Ping" his NPC model lists him as "Civilian".
- Ping's NPC model is used by another male NPC in the mission, however their only purpose is walking around section 3 of the hotel.
- Ping's girlfriend shares a similar NPC mode with a deceased woman on the bottom floor during the Belltower raid, her outfit is also borrowed by an african-american woman outside section 4.
- Ping is one of the only minor characters in "Hunting the Hacker" with a name.
- Its heavily theorized his hotel pod was room 443 as trash can be seen piling up on the left side of section 4.
