Revised Homeland Security Act (RHS-2012) was enacted in the United States in 2012,[1] granting sweeping powers to FEMA and other government agencies. The RHSA introduces a system of security clearances, allowing arbitrary withholding of evidence, and regulates federal agencies.
Usage[]
- The RHSA Article 7, Section 2 was invoked to issue an emergency evacuation order by the National Preparedness Department to Highland Park staff, in order to use the facility as a staging ground for the attacks on Sarif Industries headquarters and manufacturing plant in Detroit.[1]
- After the attack on Sarif Industries' manufacturing, Joseph Manderley invoked the act to classify the hacker's remains as Ultra-Violet and order the Detroit police to retain the body of the hacker in the police morgue (Article 7, Section 3) and restrict access to the body to anyone with security clearance Blue or lower (Article 7, Section 4).[2]
