Scuba divers are operatives of Majestic 12 in scuba gear for underwater missions. They appear as hostile non-player characters in Deus Ex.
Characteristics[]
Scuba divers are the only humanoid enemies that are encountered underwater. They are always armed with mini-crossbows.
Locations[]
- A dead diver is found when escaping the VersaLife UC destruction, carrying flare darts.
- Two divers can be seen guarding the SoCal SeaWall at the MJ12 Sub Base.
- Two divers accompany Walton Simons via submersibles to the Ocean Lab in an attempt to kill JC Denton.
Notes[]
- Their character model is depicted as wearing a rebreather.
- If the player uses a gas grenade or pepper gun on a diver they will go into a t-pose due to having no animation for rubbing their eyes.
