The Security Bot Mark 2[1] is a small security robot that appears in Deus Ex.

The Security Bot Mark 2 is propelled by tank tracks instead of legs, making it faster and quieter than its larger counterparts. Visually, this bot is depicted as having four small machine guns. However, for gameplay purposes, this bot is armed with a single robot machine gun and has the same amount of firepower as the larger Page Bravo-3 Peacebringer, which is armed with the same weapon.

- This bot is not specifically named in-game. In official strategy guides, it is referred to as Security Bot Mark 2[1] or Security Bot (Mark 2).[2] The designation of "mark 2" is inconsistent with the number 3 used in its internal name (SecurityBot3).
- The manufacturer of this bot is not specified. However, its appearance suggests that Chiang may be the manufacturer. The number "100101" can be read on its sides, and Chiang's only known products, the Chiang Arcbot M2 and Chiang Arcbot M5, both have a 6-digit number in the same font and color. Additionally, its coloration is similar to that of the other two Chiang bots.

A security bot patrolling Liberty Island.
This bot is usually the first hostile bot JC Denton encounters, following the friendly Page Bravo-3 Peacebringer on Liberty Island at the beginning of the game. It is almost exclusively used by the NSF and by Majestic 12 forces.
- Liberty Island, patrolling outside the front door of the Statue of Liberty.
- Smuggler's Lair, behind a shutter. The bot will deploy only if a nearby Tripwire is thrown. It will be friendly after subsequent visits to his hideout and if Smuggler has decided that he can trust JC.
- Several bots can be encountered at LaGuardia Airport.
- Two bots guard the underground passage to the helibase.
- Three bots are encountered on the surface of LaGuardia Airport.
- One is encountered inside the hangar, outside of Lebedev's 747.
- Paris, guarding a metro near the Cathedrale de Payens (is not hostile).
- Outside the Aquinas Hub in Area 51, under Helios' control (2 bots). they will defend JC Denton against multiple MJ12 Commandos.
- Area 51, Sector 4
- Near the blue fusion reactor on the top floor (2 bots).
- On the middle floor, activated by a security console.
- On the bottom floor, activated by a security console.
