Subject 1 (real name: Unknown) is an unseen background character in the Deus Ex: Human Revolution - The Missing Link DLC.

Very little is known about Subject 1. The only information that is known is Subject 1 initially was a prisoner on the station that escaped at some point and went into hiding out in the Simpson Desert in Australia from Belltower Associates. According to planning boards, they had a fix on his location in 2027 and even had plans of extracting him out from Australia as well however aside from this no other information is known. It's unknown if he is alive or deceased during the DLC's events.
Trivia[]
- Subject 1 shares the same NPC head model as Ran, a minor character in the base game.
- He appears to have a name starting with "M" under his nickname, unfortunately it's unintelligible.
- It's alleged that Subject 1 had some involvement in the Australian Civil War.
