The sword has a much higher base damage than the crowbar and the combat knife, but requires even more inventory space. Although the sword appears larger than most other melee weapons, its reach (4 feet) is lower than that of the crowbar and combat knife.
The sword first appears in Hong Kong, but is quickly made obsolete, as the Dragon Tooth's sword can be obtained soon after the sword makes its first appearance.
Acquisition[]
- The weapon is first found in a crate on the roof of the MJ12 Helibase in Hong Kong.
- The sword is frequently encountered in Hong Kong. The triads doing battle in canal road all carry swords. Swords are also found on the smugglers boat, in the Luminous Path compound, and in the hands of Luminous Path members.
Notes[]
- Paul Denton carries a sword in the first mission in Liberty Island, and will use it if he runs out of ammo.
