There was a newspaper in FIRST Deus Ex about ore mining on the Moon and sending it to Earth by mass-drivers. Warren Spector even said in interview, he planned to make a level on moonbase, but it was not included in final release
- Sorry - by 'timeline', I meant DXHR(3) -> DX1 -> DX2, as in this is the earliest timestamp referencing having a colonized lunar surface, as (to the best of my knowledge) there are no other mentions of the moon in DXHR and DX1 obviously takes place ~25 years in the future. I can see how my wording may imply what you assumed, and thus I don't mind you altering it. Dsurian 18:44, August 2, 2013 (UTC)
