Move to Nano-augmentation?[]
Since this page has only info on nano-augmentations, I think it should be moved to an article called just that. "Augmentation" should probably be turned into an overview article with nano and mechanical augmentations as parts of it. Right? ;) --TheBearPaw 08:39, July 9, 2010 (UTC)
Agreed. I'm going to start working on a mechanical augmentation page. Zeta 'Arcadee 02:36, July 28, 2010 (UTC)
- There it is. ;) --TheBearPaw 17:45, July 28, 2010 (UTC)
Agent Gunther does not belong in this page[]
When was Gunther Hermann ever a nano-augmented agent? In Deus Ex, it has been established that only a minute percentage of humans are compatible with nano-augmentation, and Gunther was never mentioned as one of those. In the same vein, the satillite uplink should have been a mechanical augmentation installed on Gunther and should not have been present in this page.

Nanotech existed long before 2052. It just couldn't be introduced to the average human without killing them. Assuming the dentons were knowingly engineered to accept infusions, nano augmentation was possible, but not plausible as early as the 2020's. However I still think that looks like a macro-aug implant. Dorgles 18:17, September 3, 2011 (UTC)
- Based on the Deus Ex Bible, experiment about nano-agumentation begin in the early 2020s, so many years before 2027 (actually, we don't know the progress made since the beginning until 2027).
- Since Bob Page was never mentionned to be mechanically augmented (so any suggestion about that is more a speculation than he is nano-augmented already), he have the same augmentation of Deus Ex in Deus Ex: Human Revolution, it's the right hand and protégé of Morgan Everett (future leader of the Illuminati) and one of the main contributor of nano-augmentation experimentation, he is in fact most probable that Bob Page is basically nano-augumented in 2027, having just this implant.
- The devs have make that choice to put the famous implant (only one in 2027, two in 2052 and of the same model) and in the end of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Bob Page speak about nano technology normally, not like nano technology is just only a prototype for the Illuminati. In fact, we also don't know when Walton Simons was nano-aug, he can be before JC Denton.
- In another point, for the Dentons, they are prototypes for widespread nano-aug, compatible with all. Bob Page was born human and was nano-augmented, but he has only one in a billion chance of failure right? So why this is successful specifically for him? Because the nanite was adapted specifically for him which is extremely costly but he has the power and the money to do that. The fact that he basically nano-augmented already in 2027 doesn't surprise me actually, and I find that quite normal. Itachou [~talk~] 14:10, September 4, 2011 (UTC)
