Did they change his name? On the tv screen picture his name is William and not Bill.

Bill is a diminutive of William Elpeppo87 17:39, June 19, 2011 (UTC)

does anybody know what happens if you sneak into taggart's dressing room and find sandoval's location without him knowing? I tried this but I decided to plant the recording of sandoval talking to namir on his computer. Not sure if there even IS an option to not put the recording on Taggart's computer. I basically want to know if it affects the situation with sandovals suicide in the sewers. 188.220.100.14 00:04, April 5, 2012 (UTC)

It seems it's an either/or situation - either you talk to Taggart or you sneak into his dressing room. I sneaked. Now I'm not sure if I shouldn't have talked instead. Hm.--Cyberman TM 17:43, June 30, 2012 (UTC)
In my complete run attempt, I first took out all the guards and was already in his dressing room, that voided confronting Taggart in the conference room. I then did *not* plant the "fake evidence" on his computer and continued from there. When I did that, Sandoval attacked me in the sewer hideout right away, i.e. no way to talk him out of his suicide.
I do wonder though what influence it has to plant the "fake evidence". In theory it should take Taggart out of the picture, i.e. he should not show up in Panchea, since that should have gotten him arrested. But Sandoval hints at that Taggart is very good at talking himself out of anything: "He is like Teflon... nothing sticks to him". — AEon (talk) 21:40, August 27, 2012 (UTC)
Update: If you do not confront Taggart at the convention center, but directly "hack" his computer (in his dressing room) to then plant some "fake" evidence, Sandoval (in the sewers) will again need to be talked out of suicide. Apparently, planting the evidence, at least up to the Sandoval encounter point in the game, shows no effect. Apparently Taggart, much as Sandoval said, was able to spin things... the planted evidence probably just yields some extra XP. And a very brief moral dilemma for the player? Might be cool, if Taggart mentioned the planted evidence if one meets him again at Panchea, mentioning that he removed the evidence or something along those lines. — AEon (talk) 10:44, August 28, 2012 (UTC)
