Walker is a hitman[1] working as a contractor for Morgan Everett and appears during the side mission 01011000.

Biography[]

After Eliza Cassan's program split during Panchaea's destruction, Picus CEO Everett attempts to prevent the fractured part of Eliza from becoming powerful and freeing herself from any sort of control. To prevent this, Everett hires Walker, along with additional mercenaries, to track down a disk containing backup memories of an older Eliza program and sought after by the fractured Eliza in order to assemble herself and grow in sophistication.

As he knows Adam Jensen is after a disk reader, Walker heads to the only store that carries such a reader, Future-Past Antiký, before incapacitating the store clerk there and leaving him strapped to a bomb in the basement. He then poses as a store clerk when Jensen comes looking for the reader. While posing a store clerk, Walker misreads the store's damaged sign and incorrectly refers to the store's name as "Future-Last."

Walker was informed by an unnamed source from Picus that he was the only one clever enough to complete the mission and the only one Everett could trust. In reality, Everett does not appreciate Walker prying into the mission (where he learned about Helle) and his lack of discretion. As a result, the source from Picus orders the mercenaries to kill Walker once the disk has been retrieved.

Missions[]

  • SM06: 01011000: Jensen confronts Walker at Future-Past Antiký. If Jensen convinces Walker to walk away from his mission, Walker can later be found in the basement of Svobody Beer. Otherwise, if Jensen non-lethally incapacitates Walker, Walker will later show up at Adam Jensen's apartment.

Trivia[]

  • According to a cut email, Walker emailed Future-Past Antiký to inquire whether they have a disk reader for an 1989 floppy disk, and was told by the store that they have exactly what he is looking for.[2] In the email, Walker's full name is "Donovan Walker." The given name "Donovan" does not appear anywhere in-game.
