Weapon Modification (Accuracy) is a weapon modification in Deus Ex. It is used to increase the accuracy of compatible weapons.

As with other attribute-upgrading modifications, up to 5 accuracy modifications can be installed on a particular weapon, each providing an additional increase in accuracy.
The accuracy bonus from accuracy mods will stack with the accuracy bonus from the corresponding weapon skill (as well as the accuracy bonus from the Targeting augmentation). A combination of weapon skill and accuracy mods can be used to attain 100% accuracy for a particular weapon, as shown in the table below. For example, the assault rifle attains 100% accuracy with the combination of 3 accuracy mods and a master level rifle skill.
The accuracy gain per upgrade depends on the base accuracy of the weapon. Weapons with a lower base accuracy gain more accuracy per upgrade as compared to weapons with a higher base accuracy.

The inventory interface truncates decimal values when displaying accuracy. For example, an accuracy of 87.5% will be displayed as 87%. However, internal calculations based on accuracy will still account for the decimal values.
Once a weapon has attained 100% accuracy, additional accuracy mods will provide no further benefit (unless to compensate for accuracy penalties incurred as a result of taking damage to the arms or the head). Note that at master level rifle skill, the sniper rifle will have 100% accuracy without the use of any accuracy mods.
